I am a registered art therapist and certified yoga instructor with extensive experience working with adults and children who have endured abuse, trauma, or loss. I also work with those who would like to deepen their relationship with the healing power of creativity and the transformative potential within.
I have a deep, lifelong connection to creativity, as I believe we all do, that I nurture daily through practicing art, yoga, and meditation.
In my private practice I use meditation, art, yoga, and writing as ways to help clients attune to their inherent wisdom and healing power. I teach clients creative practices that help transform trauma and loss into mystery, beauty and personal truth. My work is client-centred and responds to the client’s moment-to-moment experience, which in turn helps the client do the same. Creativity is about play and process. Connecting to these qualities is both transformative and healing.
